Sandbox Percussion Seminar

This summer, I had the pleasure of taking part in the 2025 Sandbox Percussion Seminar at the New School in New York City. Over this week, I got to work with Andy Akiho and the members of Sandbox Percussion on a newer work by Akiho titled Portal. We learned all about rhythmic ostinato, polyrhythms, and creativity in creating an ensemble. I also got to watch the entire Seven Pillars suite live, which was an amazing and eye-opening experience.
